The Cosmos and the Path to the Transcendent Dimension
Cosmology allows us to contemplate the vastness of the cosmos and reflect on the seemingly infinite space we call the Universe.
It expands our perception of “who” is observing the cosmos we inhabit and helps keep us attuned to our cosmic environment—the cycles of the Sun, Moon, and planets. In addition, it reveals our position within the cosmos and may open our minds to future cosmic discoveries. Perhaps even encounters with other civilizations living within one of the billions of solar systems in our galaxy and other galaxies.
In a separate section, we will also explore how knowledge of quantum fields allows us to dive deeper into the source of all matter and even into the creation of atoms. If you wish to “see” the fundamental origin of the “I Am,” you may begin by studying cosmology and quantum theories. Through them, you may catch a glimpse of the “size of infinity” (space) and sense the “length of eternity” (time).
Cosmology is one of the gateways through which we may come to realize the “Kingdom of Heaven.”
For hundreds of years, since the time of Copernicus, there was persecution of those who attempted to share knowledge about the cosmos. Have you ever wondered why? Was it simply an attempt to conceal the idea that humanity has a deeper connection with the sky—the cosmos? Or did this “forbidden” knowledge threaten the Church’s control over Western society as a whole? What was so significant about it that, for centuries, churches across Europe burned alive astronomers, thinkers, and thousands of individuals who disagreed with their doctrines and authority?
Here, we begin by presenting historical accounts of the condemnation of pioneering astronomers and thinkers—many of whom hid their work, were imprisoned, or even gave their lives to preserve knowledge and intellectual integrity.
The understanding of a vast, interconnected web of stars, solar systems, galaxies, clusters, and potentially even other civilizations was not knowledge permitted for the masses. It was perceived as a threat to ecclesiastical authority. As a result, the Inquisition emerged as a tool to suppress individuals and ideas that contradicted imposed laws and belief systems.
Even today, similar strategies can be observed—where individuals who do not conform to dominant narratives may face forms of exclusion such as de-platforming, de-banking, or public discrediting under newly established regulations governing information.
For this reason, it is important to seek truth about the cosmos we inhabit, as part of understanding our origins and collective history. In doing so, we may come to see ourselves as participants in a greater unfolding story, experiencing a brief journey here on Earth. By contemplating the vastness of the night sky, we may look inward and recognize that we are also part of this “cosmic field”—and perhaps even glimpse the “Kingdom of Heaven,” both beyond and within ourselves.
Cosmology and the study of quantum fields echo the ancient principle, “as above, so below.” There may be no true separation between Heaven and Earth—only a matter of perspective that gives rise to the feeling of division.
Part 1 - A Brief Introduction to Cosmology
In this section, we explore the pioneering cosmologists who helped usher in a new era in human history. Their work sparked a revolution in our perception of the universe and our place within it. We will examine the fates of those who, in the early 1600s, attempted to share groundbreaking ideas and discoveries about the cosmos.
Copernicus's Revolutionary Ideas Reorganized the Heavens
The Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus had argued in his 1543 book On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres that the sun lay at the center of the universe, while Earth was a planet orbiting it. Though Copernicus himself did not live to see the impact of his revolutionary heliocentric theory, the mathematician Giordano Bruno was convicted of heresy in 1600 for his support of Copernicus theory, and burned at the stake.

Giordano Bruno Executed
The radical Italian thinker was burned at the stake on February 17th, 1600.
The Campo de Fiori, near the spot where Julius Caesar was murdered, is Rome’s marketplace and also the place where heretics were executed. It was there that Giordano Bruno was sentenced to death, as an obstinate heretic. Denied the customary mercy of strangulation, he was burned alive.
In Venice he was betrayed to the Inquisition and in 1593 was removed to Rome, where he was held in prison and interrogated for six years before the final sentence was passed. When it was read out to him, he said to his judges: “Perhaps your fear in passing judgment on me is greater than mine in receiving it.”

Giordano Bruno: The Philosopher of Astronomy
Among his most famous sayings are the following on the possibility of worlds outside the Solar System, in the work “De L’Infinito Universo E Mondi” of 1584:
“There are therefore innumerable suns; there are infinite earths that equally revolve around these suns, in the same way as we see these seven (planets) revolve around this sun that is close to us.”[2]. Giordano Bruno (Third Dialog).
“And this space is what we call the infinite, because there is no reason, capacity, possibility, sense or nature that must limit it. There are infinite worlds similar to this one and no different from it in its type, because there is no reason or defect of natural capacity (I am referring both to passive and active power) by which, just as they exist in this space that surrounds us, they should not equally exist in the other space that by its nature is no different or diverse from this.“[1], Giordano Bruno (Fifth Dialogue).

On February 13 of 1633, Italian philosopher, astronomer and mathematician Galileu Galilei arrives in Rome to face charges of heresy for advocating Copernican theory, which holds that the Earth revolves around the Sun.
Galileo officially faced the Roman Inquisition in April of that same year and agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a lighter sentence. Put under house arrest indefinitely by Pope Urban VIII, Galileo spent the rest of his days at his villa in Arcetri, near Florence, before dying on January 8, 1642.

VATICAN CITY, OCT. 31 — It’s official: The Earth revolves around the sun, even for the Vatican. The Roman Catholic Church has admitted to erring these past 359 years in formally condemning Galileo Galilei for formulating scientific theories it considered heresy.
Pope John Paul II himself attended a meeting today of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences to help set the record straight on behalf of the 17th-century Italian mathematician, astronomer and physicist who was the first man to use a telescope and who is remembered as one of history’s greatest scientists. “The underlying problems of this case concern both the nature of science and the message of faith,” the pope noted. “One day we may find ourselves in a similar situation, which will require both sides to have an informed awareness of the field and of the limits of their own competencies.”
Galileo, who in 1633, at age 69, was forced to repent by the Roman Inquisition and spent the last eight years of his life under house arrest.

Over 400 years after the fate of Giordano Bruno, we now have access to NASA data that confirms what he knew, experienced, and expressed: the existence of a multitude of suns (stars), planets, and life throughout the cosmos. This knowledge remains true today. As NASA demonstrates on their website dashboard (see link below), their real-time display thousands of exoplanet discoveries, which are located on solar systems throughout our galaxy, serves as proof that we are part of a much larger cosmic web.
This leads one to wonder: how many life forms exist within the vast expanse of galaxies across the universe? With this knowledge in mind, we can step into the foundational understanding of cosmology and begin to explore our current evolution as humans, traveling through space-time.
Most of the exoplanets discovered so far are in a relatively small region of our galaxy, the Milky Way. (“Small” meaning within thousands of light-years of our solar system) That is as far as current telescopes have been able to probe. We know from NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope and James Webb Telescope that there are more planets than stars in the galaxy.

Our solar system is one of the “dust pixel” near the ‘X” mark. Can you grasp the size of the galaxy we live in, which is traveling about 3.7million Km/h into space?

Can you identify the location of our home galaxy in this picture? Take a look at the neighboring galaxies and try to grasp the magnitude of our Local Galactic Group, the interstellar neighborhood. Where are you in this image? Can you feel the expansive nature of consciousness as it broadens, allowing you to embrace your sense of being in this vast location? Not as individual identity, but as the one who sees it all?
This map shows the currents of galaxies in a particular area in the universe. The galaxies (white spheres) are like floating bolls in a sea. The line and circle in red color indicate the estimated location of our galaxy. Currents carry them from an island (galaxy cluster) to the closest larger island of galaxies, the Great Attractor region. Red and yellow colors show the islands, and dark blue shows the voids that galaxies avoid by following the currents.

According to sophisticated computer models, that simulate how the Universe evolved and ticks, shows that tiny fluctuations occurred in the very early Universe. These perturbations grew under the influence of gravity and formed a complex network of dark matter sheets and filaments known as the cosmic web. Later, normal matter was drawn inside the densest knots of the web, aggregated into clumps where the first stars formed then later assembled into galaxies.
The simulation of the cosmic web, with clusters and superclusters of galaxies, offers a glimpse into the creation of the universe. As we will explore further, there is indeed a location for the center of the universe we live in. This location has been revealed by two NASA telescopes—Hubble and Chandra—each offering a different perspective of the same area (one in optical view, the other in infrared).
If there is a center of creation, often referred to as the “Big Bang” or the “cosmic egg of creation,” as mentioned in various mythologies around the world, does this imply the existence of a “creator” or creators of the universe? We will delve further into this topic in the section on Ancient Mythologies.

The large-scale structure of the Universe are like neurons in a human brain, and there’s the interesting coincidence that the number of stars in a galaxy, galaxies in the Universe, atoms in a cell, and cells in a living being are all approximately the same large (10^11 to 10^14) number.
Are we all just part of an atom in a brain cell of The Universal Mind that has yet to become self-aware? How would we know? – “Know Thy Self”!!!
The Great Mind
The Great Mind is the Cosmic Quantum Field, the so-called “Eather”, as mentioned by Nikola Tesla and Einstein, and recognized by ancient civilizations as the foundation of creation. We live within this “Mind” and are an integral part of it; in fact, it manifests through us. We are “it”! If we direct the attention of our Cosmic Consciousness into infinity, we can “feel” its vastness. In doing so, we may recognize the true “I Am” as the One Source of existence—nothing exists beyond this view. It is the Singularity of The Great Mind of All. As stated in the Kybalion (Hermetic Principles), “The All is Mind,” in other words, “The Universal Field.”
If we delve into the Quantum understanding of time-space reality, we find that there is vast space within the atomic structure of all things we consider matter. Even the visible and solid structures—including all stars and planets—are made of atoms, and these atoms are 99.99999% “empty space” and only 0.00001% matter. Modern science and physicists, using the CERN particle collider, have attempted to divide this “solid matter” into smaller and smaller “particles,” some of which are referred to by scientists as “energy fluctuations.” The leading physicist today, Nassim Haramein, explains and proves that atoms are, in fact, “mini black holes” spinning at high speed within the Field. Everything emerges from this Universal Field.
This means Consciousness exists both in the vast expanse of the Cosmos and in the quantum world of the very small—what was once called “Eather” and is now known in modern science as “Quantum Field Fluctuation.” There is no point in space or time that this Mind cannot “See.” It is the Inner Eye “looking” through the singularity of a Single Eye, beyond duality. From here onward, our human mind cannot comprehend, for it cannot grasp the size of infinity or the length of eternity. There are many theories attempting to explain or understand these “concepts”; however, the One Source (The Great Mind) is not a concept and cannot be explained—it can only be experienced from within. The “Great Mind” looks through you, as YOU!
